Practera partnership unlocks student support for small businesses

We’re excited to extend a warm welcome to our new partner Practera. Practera connects small businesses with students team to run short term projects at no financial cost.

They are a trusted leader in student-industry projects, collaborating with over 90%
of Australian Universities.

Through our partnership with Practera we are able to connect Self-employment Assistance participants with brilliant student teams from across Australian universities that are ready to undertake short-form projects to support the growth and development of thier small businesses at no cost.

Business owners are able to tailor their projects to specific requirements, ensuring maximum relevance and impact.

How It Works

1. Select a project type based on your current or future business and current priorities.

2. Provide a brief overview of your project requirements. It only takes 5-10 minutes to complete.

3. Practera assigns a team of students with relevant skills and expertise to undertake your project.

4. Review the student work and provide online feedback. This typically requires approximately 60 minutes per week over 2-3 weeks.

5. Receive a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations tailored to your business needs.

Self-Employment Assistance participant already finds success with Practera !

I am thrilled to share my experience collaborating with students from King’s Own Institute (KOI) on my website development project with Practera.

Even though the project is still in progress, I have consistently been impressed by their collective skills, creativity, and dedication to the project.  Throughout the ongoing stages of the project, the team has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence.

The team has exhibited strong project management skills and, the ability to navigate challenges. meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements. Their proactive communication and collaboration among team members facilitated smooth workflow in driving the progress of the project.

I encourage other participants to seize the opportunity to participate in Practera’s collaborations, as it provides an ideal platform for small business owners to connect with talented students and tap their skills to address business challenges, explore new ideas, and drive innovation.
